Shaman wrote an explanatory in the Ministry of Internal Affairs after a complaint about inciting interethnic growth in his song "I am Russian"

The artist said that his new concert program is also called “I am Russian”, and called the complaint to the Ministry of Internal Affairs “an unexpected gift” to the premiere. According to a resident of the Tula region, the song sounding on the radio is extremist and incites interethnic discord in the country. The criminal investigator asked the singer to write a “explanatory note”.

“My song“ I am Russian ”knows, love and sing representatives of completely different nationalities inhabiting our country. For each of them, speaking and thinking in Russian, the statement “I Russian” means belonging to our common history, great culture and spiritual kinship with millions of other fellow citizens who consider Russia their homeland, ”wrote Shaman.

The singer also decided to remind you that it was this song that sounded on Channel One on New Year's Eve - immediately after the appeal of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The explanation was given by me with my own hands, I wrote and sing this song because I am Russian,” he concluded.

Another song of the shaman - “get up” - became a symbol of war in Ukraine. He performed it at the last concert in Luzhniki on February 22, 2023 before Putin's performance. Also, the clip for the song “Get up” is distributed on the network, where it is performed by participants in Putin's favorite group “Lube”, singer Nadezhda Babkin and other stars.
