Georgia allowed Ukrainians up to two years to be in the country without a visa

Ukrainians will now be able to be in Georgia for two years without a visa. According to Georgia Online, on February 24, the Georgian government made an appropriate amendment to the Decree of June 5, 2015.

Prior to this, citizens of Ukraine could only be in the country without a visa, like Russians. A year later, it was necessary to cross the border and enter Georgia again.

According to the Office of the UN Supreme Commissioner for Refugees, Georgia now remain 25,701 refugees from Ukraine. In total, after the start of the war, about 8.09 million people left for Europe.
