Lawyer Dmitry Grustatov published a letter that Masha Moskaleva wrote from the shelter to her father. According to a lawyer on Facebook, Alexei Moskalev contacted him, said that he received a letter to his daughter, and asked him to publish.
Masha writes to her father that “everything is good” with her and asks him not to get sick and not worry. “I love you very much, and know, you are not to blame for anything, I am always for you, and everything you do is right. <...> I ask you, just do not give up. Believe, hope and love. Once we sit down at the table and will remember all this. I love you, I hope not, I know that you will not give up, you are strong, we are strong, we can, and I will pray for you and for us, dad, ”the letter says.
On the eve of March 28, the court in Efremov of the Tula region sentenced Alexei Moskalev. He was found guilty of “discrediting” by the Russian army and sentenced to two years in a general regime colony. Moskalev himself was not present at the announcement of the sentence. As the court secretary later reported, at night he escaped from house arrest. Where the man is now is unknown.
On the same day, the defender of Moskalev Vladimir Bilienko went to the shelter where Masha was holding. He was not allowed to see the girl, but they gave her drawings and a letter. Father and daughter had not seen each other and did not communicate since the beginning of March, when he was sent under house arrest, and her-to the "Social Rehabilitation Center" in Efremov.
Alexey Moskalev raises his daughter alone. Law enforcement agencies became interested in the family in April 2022, when Masha, who studied then in the sixth grade, painted an anti -war poster in the lesson. The school administration called the police.
Subsequently, Moskalev was fined for the “discredit” of the Russian army due to comments in “Odnoklassniki”, and in December a criminal case of re-“discrediting” was opened.
