
The justice of the 2nd judicial section of the Tatar judicial district of the Novosibirsk region sentenced the deputy from United Russia Sergey Mamontov to 10 months of correctional labor. He was found guilty of the deliberate leaving without the help of a person in life -threatening and health condition (Article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). On October 30, 2022, in Tatarsk, Mamontov shot down a six -year -old boy in his Toyota and disappeared from the scene, throwing the child to lie on the road.
As a result, an ambulance was caused by passers -by. He was recorded by bruises, a concussion and a fracture of the sciatic bone. The child was taken by helicopter to the hospital. After the accident, the Mamontov’s car was put on the wanted list, which is why he appeared to the police himself. He was threatened with a year of imprisonment, but at the end of December the court terminated the case, as the child’s mother went to reconciliation. She said that Mamontov promised to cover all the costs associated with the treatment of her son. Later, the prosecutor's office appealed the court decision. The man was expelled from United Russia.
