
The court in Ufa sentenced the head of the training and call department of the military commissariat of the Ordzhonikidzevsky and Kalinin districts Konstantin Zoropaev, who helped several hockey players to evade the service. According to the GRK Bashkortostan, he was sentenced to six years in prison and a fine of 1.8 million rubles.
The defendant pleaded guilty and refused to participate in the debate during the court.
Poropaev was detained in October 2022. In February, the court sentenced to three years a fine of 510 thousand rubles of Zoropaev himself and his wife Angelica, who admitted in mediation when transferring bribes.
Earlier, in April 2022, on charges of mediation, when buying military IDs, local businessman Farit Samigullin was arrested. According to UFA1.ru, interrogating it, the investigation reached the hockey players Anvara Suleimanov, Vladislav Lukin and Mikhail Vorobyov, who, through Samigullina, handed over bribes to Zoropaev to receive military tickets. All three subsequently appeared to the court and were found guilty. Suleimanov was sentenced to five years, Lukin was fined 2.2 million rubles, Vorobyov - 2 million rubles. In addition, the former player of the youth personnel of FC Ufa Dmitry Belozerov, a football player, was fined 400 thousand rubles, was condemned for giving bribes to Zoropaev.
Currently, the court in Ufa is considering the case of Metallurg striker Semyon Koshelev, who is also accused of giving a bribe to Zoropaeva. The case of Samigullin has not yet been considered in court.
In July, it became known that the services of Samigullin, allegedly, were used by the striker of Minnesota Wilde Kirill Kaprizov and the forward of CSKA Pavel Karnaukhov. According to investigators, in 2017 they also gave bribes to evade military service.
