The procedure for the transfer of to Russia sentenced to six years in prison by the Russian Russian woman Sophia Sapiei was launched. This was announced by TASS lawyer Anton Gashinsky. At the same time, Gashinsky did not answer the question of the terms of its transfer. “No comment,” said the lawyer.

On the eve of the Baza Telegram channel reported that Sapieha's parents filed a petition to the Ministry of Justice to transfer her to the Russian colony. According to BAZA, the Belarusian side gave its consent to the transfer, and now the family of Sapega is waiting for a court that will determine the term of punishment in Russia.

In mid-March, Sapega, convicted in Belarus in the criminal case on the administration of protest telegram channels, was included in the list of persons involved in terrorism. At the end of January, she was refused pardon, since her case did not meet all the necessary “criteria”, said Olga Chupris, deputy head of the Belorussian presidential administration. She emphasized that Sapega was refused "completely legally", without "some kind of biased attitude."

On May 6, the court in Belarus sentenced Sapeg to 6 years in the colony. The girl was accused of seven criminal articles. In particular, it was found guilty of “illegal collecting and disseminating information about private life that constitute the personal and family secrets of another person, without his consent, which caused harm to the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the victim.”
