A “citizen of the USSR” from Orel was sentenced

Ilya Florinsky was sentenced to six years in prison.

On April 19, the 2nd Western Military Court sentenced under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activities) Orel resident Ilya Florinsky to 6 years in prison.

According to investigators , Florinsky reposted on VKontakte and telegram the video “Scheme for Liberation from the Regime” with calls “to Muscovites to go out into the streets and seize the Kremlin” and an anti-vaxxer post with a call to revive the “socially oriented state”.

Group “Citizens of the USSR. Eagle, by the time the criminal case was initiated, had been blocked for two years. Florinsky claimed that he first saw the video during interrogation.
