The FSB detained a 19-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg in North Ossetia in a criminal case of preparation for state reception. This was reported by the Alania GTRK with reference to the press service of the Republican FSB.
The investigation claims that the detainee was going to leave for Ukraine to participate in hostilities against the Russian army. He allegedly through Telegram found representatives of one of the armed groups and “expressed his intention” to join it, providing his personal data.
“Having received instructions on the need to meet in Georgia with an armed formation, the man arrived in Vladikavkaz for further crossing the border, but was detained,” the press service of the FSB said in a statement.
The name of the detainee is not called. It is also not known whether the court chose him a measure of restraint.
