Thousands of Russian schoolchildren will be sent to military-patriotic camps to undergo fire and tactical training

More than nine thousand Russian schoolchildren from 11 regions of Russia will go to the military-patriotic camps “Warrior”, where they will be firing and tactical training, master the basics of national security of the Russian Federation, as well as meet with participants in military operations in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far East Yuri Trutnev.

“From June 1 to 10 in 11 regions of Russia, military-patriotic shifts on the basis of summer health camps will start. Their organizer is the Center for military sports training and patriotic education of youth “Warrior”, ”the report said.

The camps will be arranged in Buryatia, Kalmykia, Tatarstan, Chechnya, Khabarovsk Territory, Belgorod, Kemerovo, Pskov, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen regions and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Teenagers aged 14 to 17 years will be sent there.

“As part of shifts, young people will master the basics of the national security of the Russian Federation, fire, tactical, engineering training, tactical medicine, organizing and piloting UAVs, and will consolidate the results at military sports games,” the envoy reports.

Earlier it became known that Trutnev and the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergei Kiriyenko, proposed "to revive the system of voluntary military-sports training and patriotic education in Russia."

As the Taiga notes , the headquarters of the Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth “Warrior” was supposed to lead the recently dismissed form-commander of the Pacific Fleet Sergei Avakyants. But the publication did not find any legal entities related to the Avakian to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

On December 1, 2022, in Moscow, the ANO of additional vocational education was registered “Center for the Development of Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth”, which is led by Nikolai Longino.
