
The FSB reported on the prevention of terrorist attacks on the Leningrad and Kalinin nuclear power plants, which were allegedly planned for May 9. As stated in the press release of the department quoted by RIA Novosti, the SBU sabotage group tried to blow up more than 30 supports of high-voltage power lines at nuclear power plants.
“The terrorists managed to undermine one and minimize the four supports of the power lines of the Leningrad NPP and lay the IEA under the seven supports of the Kalinin NPP,” the FSB says.
The detention of four people is reported: these are the citizens of Ukraine Alexander Maisthustra, born in 1978 and Eduard Usatenko born in 1974, as well as two Russians who helped them, whose names are not called. In addition, Yuri Kishcheak, born in 1963, has been put on the wanted list, having citizenship of Ukraine and the Russian Federation. According to the FSB, he is in Belgium.
