A case has been opened in Kuzbass against “citizens of the USSR”

In Kuzbass, a criminal case was opened against "citizens of the USSR".

In June 2023, it became known that a criminal case was initiated in the Kemerovo region under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization).

According to investigators, a 59-year-old local resident and her 57-year-old acquaintance “created and administered a number of pages in one of the social networks that popularized the activities of the Union of Slavic Forces of Russia”... “maintained pages on which they declared the illegitimacy of the Russian Federation , persuaded their supporters not to pay utility bills and taxes, and also sold the blanks of the “documents” of the USSR.”

Recall that the "USSR" was created by a dentist Sergei Taraskin in 2010. The ideology of the movement is based on the belief that the Soviet Union never collapsed, therefore the current government in Russia should be recognized as illegitimate (for more information about the "Union of Slavic Forces of Russia", see here ) . In July 2019, the Supreme Court of the Komi Republic recognized the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' (USSR) as an extremist organization.
