From St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg State University) was expelled without the right to restore seven historians who spoke out against the war in Ukraine. The reason was the posts in Z-Ploks, which spoke of the existence of the “organized crime group”, or “cells of the extracts-rhusophobes”. Passing bloggers stated that the students, together with the assistant professor Mikhail Belousov, were “mocked” over the death of Fedor Solomonov, a sortone of the Plast Foundation of St. Petersburg State University, who voluntarily went to fight. Z-Ploks drew attention to the Institute of History of St. Petersburg State University in late May. Then, in the walls of the university, for a month, a spontaneous memorial appeared in memory of the Salon Salomonovs who died in the war: a historian student in the fall of 2022 did not use the university delay from mobilization, went to Ukraine as a volunteer and was blown up by a mine. The Z-blogger Kirill Fedorov, Readovka, the media of the propagandist Anton Krasovsky “Conservative” and other telegram channels issued an “investigation” about the assistant professor of Mikhail Belousov and a group of students who supposedly “began to mock the death of Fedor and defeat his memory.” The screenshot of the alleged message of Belousov scattered on social networks, where the teacher called the “disgusting” “direct and open approval of Rashism” and stated that he considers “normal to use his own rhetoric only within the framework of sneakers and a frank stack”. Although the assistant professor claimed that he did not send messages with such statements, the leadership of the university fired him on June 3. The order of the rector said that Belousov was suspended "for committing an immoral misconduct, incompatible with a continuation of work."

On the day of the dismissal of Belousov, 11 students of St. Petersburg State University were summoned to a commission on ethics. Students of different courses, from the first to the last, fourth, gathered near the memorial to the memorial of the universants - victims of political repression in the courtyard of the building of the twelve colleges. Students were accused of creating an anti -tuned “organized crime group at the St. Petersburg State University”.

- The commission was held in the White Hall of the university. The day before, the passes were blocked, although we were not yet expelled, we remained in the status of students. Some man from the security service of the university walked past and checked on a manuscript list, whom to miss. At some point, he broke and began to shout: “There, a man died in the war! You do not respect his memory! " - recalls the commission one of the called on her.

Following the meeting, ten students of the Institute of History of St. Petersburg State University were found guilty of violating the University Code. The deduction was recommended by everyone who did not speak in support of the war in Ukraine.

All decisions of the commission published on the university’s website were written “under the carbon copy”: the students were reproached for not managing the mission to “worthy of representing St. Petersburg State University in an extraordinary environment, to take care of its reputation as a scientific and educational institution, to strengthen its authority as the oldest university in Russia and one of the leading universities of the country.” All claims of the university were based on the publications of wire -packed bloggers and publications.

The website of St. Petersburg State University said that the Ethics Commission included Lyudmila Gromova, a professor and the head of the Department of Journalism History, who initiated writing an open letter from universants to the president in Ukraine in Ukraine.

On June 15, the university administration sent orders for deductions by e -mail to seven students.

"The leader of the organized crime group"

One of the expelled - Mikhail Martin is the former chairman of the Student Council of the ISTFAK SPbU. Mikhail studied at the graduation course, in June he hoped to protect the diploma. But the day before the appointed date, he received an order to deduct without the right to restore. It was Martin’s Z-channels in his “investigation” was recorded in the “organized crime group”. According to the ethical commission, the discussions arranged by him at the university "poorly influenced students."

- I was presented in the channels as the “head of the organized crime group”, so my interrogation at the ethics commission dragged on for half an hour. The rest were asked less. The first question was: "Your attitude to his?" Then they talked about Solomonov. Neither I, none of the other of ten people reacted to his death, so there is no evidence against us. They asked a lot about whether we consider his act heroic, whether we know that he awarded him, ”says Mikhail Martin.

Also, the participants in the commission were interested in the student’s connection with the dismissed assistant professor Mikhail Belousov.

- It was not clear to them why he took a picture with me. I replied that there were many who were photographed with me - both the dean and Vice -Rector Babich, who expelled me. But there was no reaction to my comments, ”says Mikhail Martin. - Belousov himself did not lead a single pair in my life at all. The photograph with him, as with many other teachers, was made as a cool student action.

When Mikhail answered the question of studying the study that he was going to a red diploma, the director of the Institute of History of Abdulla Daudov, "he looked at the table and seemed to think." “Maybe he was ashamed at that moment,” suggests Mikhail Martin.

Mikhail himself knew many of those who were represented by “participants in the organized crime group of Belousov” exclusively for participation in student life -

For events, concerts and so on. In fact, many people called to the ethics commission did not communicate close to each other and did not even study with the Associate Professor Belousov. The guys became noticeable because of their open anti-war position or activism within the student council, which argued a lot with the administration. Some students got into the Lists of Z-channels at all by chance.

Students who were expelled from St. Petersburg State University after the ethical commission are sure: the story about the “Zakhorian” “organized crime group” arose thanks to local Z-activists, to like-minded people of the deceased Fedor Solomonov.

- At the Eastfacing there is a group of radically wore students, they did not like that people with an anti -war position were studying with them. Personally, I never silent about my views. Therefore, these people took advantage of the acquaintance with Solomonov, supposedly we mocked him, and decided to “merge” us. On the one hand, they wanted to see more wire students, and on the other hand, the SPbSU administration wanted to remove us because of our activity in the Studs. And so successfully everything coincided for them, ”says Daniil Podluzhny, another four -year student dedicated after the ethics commission. At the time of the outbreak of war in Ukraine, it was he who was the chairman of the Student Flood Foundation - he was elected to this post in mid -2021, immediately after the end of the powers of his comrade Mikhail Martin.

Both Mikhail and the subchaning believe that the group of wire students was especially upset in the last election to the Studs council. “We have elections with urns, public observers and other attributes, there were no frauds, they absolutely honestly lost,” Daniil explains.

Among the others, the storage room Vladimir Zheleznyakov was also expelled after the commission - it was he who was elected in May 2023 by the chairman of the Student Fund. According to other students, Vladimir "never climbed into politics and articulated his position on his own." Now the student council of the Institute of History is “beheaded” and, in fact, destroyed.

-Everything is formed in such a way that a few student Z-radicals wanted to clean the ranks of students.

They inflated the scandal for the Russian Z-publicity, which pressed the university’s administration with an information wave so that SPbSU was more willing to expel us, ”says Mikhail Martin. According to the recollections of the former universant, the wire students attended the ethics commission as “witnesses”. They were put separately from the “accused”, and when it was over, they took them out through a separate exit.

It was convenient to expel the “non -adhering party line” and arguing students to the university itself. The first “frontal clash” by Mikhail Martin and Daniil Podluzhnaya with the university administration occurred due to the expulsion of the student of the JURGTU SPbU Elena Skvortsova, a former activist of the Vesna movement and an employee of the human rights association “Team 29”. The pretext for its deductions was the assessment of “unsatisfactory”, which was exhibited due to the fact that the girl did not count the materials of practice.

- Then I was the chairman of the Studs Council of the Eastfacing and thought: “What kind of schizophrenia? They counted the practice for everyone, but she was not counted. ” I sincerely tried to defend her, spoke to the [vice -rector for educational work of Marina] Lavrikova, and with [vice -rector for educational work Alexander] Babich. Then I argued with the [rector of St. Petersburg State University] Kropachev. At the meeting of the Presidium of the Great Student Council, in his forehead asked: "What is happening?" He said that each case should be considered separately, that there was a violation. Naturally, he did not post the recording from the meeting anywhere, but we laid out. I provided the video with our student media "Studen". After that, everyone was blazing. Kropachev sought to delete the video, but after our refusal to the administration, we decided to replay and posted a conversation at the St. Petersburg State University - they say, no one was against it from the very beginning, ”recalls Mikhail Martin.

“I have been waiting for my deductions since the second year, when there was a story with Elena Skvortsova, I was then the deputy chairman of the Studs Council,” adds Daniil Podluzhny.

After the story with Skvortsova, Daniil and Mikhail continued to argue with the administration regarding various orders that limit students' rights. “All this was within the framework of decency. Nobody sent anywhere. Well, they argued and argued. It is now clear that it is unpleasant for them to have [nearby] a person who perceives everything with bayonets and does not go to the butt, ”says Mikhail Martin.

One of the last drops that overwhelmed the bowl of the administration’s patience could become an “anti -war resolution”, drawn up on February 24, 2022 by some members of the Student Council of the ISBU Estabulum. The text of the resolution said that the “initiative group of students of Russian universities” considers the decision to introduce the Russian army to the territory of Ukraine erroneous, and also notes that “the peacekeeping action should be agreed with the international community”. After this anti-war appeal began to distribute the Z-channels as one of the main arguments against the group of students of the Istfak, Vladimir Nabokov’s poem “Shooting” appeared at the Internet address of this resolution:

There are nights: only lie down,

A bed will swim to Russia,

And now they lead me to the ravine,

lead to the ravine to kill.

"Such lawlessness cannot be lowered"

After the ethical commission from St. Petersburg State University, freshman Dmitry Kuzmin was also expelled. According to him, he was not in the Student Council, therefore, a “firm and consistent anti-war position, which he publicly defends from the first day of the invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, was personally a claim to him.”

- I entered the factory in 2022. I chose St. Petersburg State University because the historical school of the university is one of the best in Russia. In addition, who would refuse to study in such a place, near the arrows of the Vasilievsky Island, in the building where eminent scientists have visited? Plus a historian be honorable. They [historians] lead the memory of the people, ”Dmitry Kuzmin tells about themselves. - But shortly after admission, September 21, I was detained at an anti -war rally. I spent four days in captivity and since then became a famous personality at the Eastfacing. With the rest of the expelled students, we are united by the common values ​​of the world, freedom and democracy.

According to Dmitry, the expulsion of students was "an antity -planned antibusfic of the Estusfaces against liberal students."

- Also, all this lawlessness is associated with the twisting of the nuts, which has been systematically traveling for more than 20 years.

This case is indicative, while the university bureaucrats save their skins from the anger of the Z-fascists, who actively heitated the university administration,-the former freshman adds.

Even before admitting to St. Petersburg State University, as Dmitry “Sources” told Dmitry, they could be interested in the FSB. “In February 2022, I hung a poster on the window with the inscription“ No War ”, then I still lived in my village in Kuzbass. The school actively demonstrated his anti -war position, the director was five times. I was forced to remove the post with condemning war on February 24 in the police and the school, but I did not bother, ”Kuzmin explains.

Dmitry plans to fight for returning to St. Petersburg State University through the court. “Students can really lose their best shots. <...> A similar lawlessness cannot be lowered, otherwise this will become the norm, other innocent people will suffer in the future, ”he says.

Most of the expelled students plan to appeal the decisions of the ethics commission inside the university, and then, probably, will also apply to the courts.

"You can throw it out and say that you are a fool"

In an interview with the New Gazeta Europe, students also said that political deductions to St. Petersburg State University were also on the ethical commission on June 3. So, the activist of the Studsovet, the third -year student Pavel Arefichev was expelled after the winter session. As the student media “Studen” wrote , during the exam in the history of modern times, one of the teachers called Paul's views “anti -communist”, the other ridiculed the correct answers. The official reason was “academic poorness”, so it could recover in a year.

- The administration works according to this principle: they can give you to study and engage in activism if you are impeccable. For example, my colleague Mikhail Martin, who was also expelled after the commission, impeccable assessments, everyone knows that he cannot be overwhelmed. But if you are substituted and engage in activism, then you can throw you and say that you are a fool yourself, you do not study. I learned four or five, but they told me that I was a complete idiot, I don’t know anything, I invent terms, ”says Pavel Arefichev. - The administration got angry. They sharpened us for a long time - for anti -war petitions, for the activity of a student council. We searched for a reason. And in January they realized that it was time to get rid of us.

After the persecution of the Pystfak in the Z-channels a few months after the release of the order on the expulsion of Pavel Arefichev, he also received an invitation to the ethical commission-for him it was separate and passed online. Despite the fact that Pavel was no longer a student, they told him that he “does not correspond to the high status of the universant,” so he will not be able to recover. At the same time, they explained to him that the reason for the commission was not so much the appearance of the name Paul in telegram channels as his numerous appeals to the university administration. Among them are letters with a protest against the reduction of watches in some disciplines and with a request to form a scientific advice of the Istfak, which would correspond to the charters of the university.

On some ideological deductions, Professor of St. Petersburg State University and Protodiacon Vladimir Vasilik insisted, who publishes wire articles on the nationalist Orthodox portal “Russian People’s Line”, and in 2022 wrote a denunciation of his colleague, director of the Center for the Study of Ukraine Tatyana Tairov-Yakovlev. After the complaint of Vasilik, the teacher was fired from the university.

- Vladimir Vladimirovich [Vasilik] after the death of [Fedor] Solomonov at the end of the couple made everyone get up to honor his memory. He also began to add questions about Ukraine, Maidan and protests in Belarus 2020. It is clear in what vein he talked about it. I had to memorize everything to somehow answer, ”says one of the students. - Other teachers in recent years, despite their anti -war position, clear from personal conversations, signed a letter in support of the war, if only it did not fly.
