"Bled 245 enemy tanks." Putin exaggerated the losses of Ukraine several times during the offensive

The Dutch independent military-analytical project ORYX is calculated the losses of both sides in technology, daily updating the data. Information about each destroyed, damaged or captured by the enemy on the Oryx website is confirmed by photography.

On June 4, the Oryx list included 514 Ukrainian tanks lost since the beginning of the war. On June 21 - 539 tanks, that is, only 25 were added to the losses. Of course, this is not all losses; Oryx specially makes a reservation:

“This list includes only destroyed vehicles and equipment, about which there are photo and video materials. Thus, the amount of destroyed equipment is much higher than indicated here. ”

In addition, data may fall on the Oryx website with some late. But the discrepancy 9.8 times is already incredible, especially taking into account the fact that in Russia cash payments for the gained Ukrainian equipment are established, which means that the Russian military is interested in documenting their combat successes.

Oryx data on armored vehicles are as follows: on June 4 - 1472 (from BMP and BRM to armored jeeps like Humvee) on June 21 - 1554, that is, 82 cars were added to the list. Discrepancy with Putin's data by 8.3 times.
