Lithuania parliamentarians initiated the process of depriving the country's citizenship of the skater Margarita Drobyazko, the bronze medalist of the 2000 World Cup, which continues to perform in Russia.

“We hoped that after the adoption of the law there would be no such precedents. Unfortunately, in public space we see that cooperation with the Rups of the Kremlin continues, ”said deputy Dahl Asanavichyute.

According to the speaker of the Legislative Assembly, most likely, the Sejm will support the initiative:

“On this issue we are approaching the final stage. As far as I know, the initiative enjoys support and, most likely, will be approved. ”

The reason that the skater wants to deprive citizenship is cooperation with Tatyana Navka, the wife of Dmitry Peskov, spokeswoman Vladimir Putin. Drryazko and her husband Piwaus Vanagas performed in the performances of Navka Ruslan and Lyudmila and Sleeping Beauty.
