Russian security forces killed two teenagers in occupied Berdyansk, accusing them of attack

The Russian security forces killed two teenagers born in 2006 in the occupied Berdyansk Zaporizhzhya region, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Lubinets. According to him, Tigran Ogannesyan and Nikita Khanganov “joined the battle with the invaders” and managed to kill a Russian soldier and collaborate-police officer before death.

According to Lubinets, the boys and their families were persecuted by the occupation administration. “Tigran Ogannesyan was abducted from home. He was brutally interrogated and tortured with the use of electric current, ”the unmuscent said.

On May 24, the Investigative Committee of Russia accused Ogannesyan and Khanganov of preparing a sabotage on the railway. The European Parliament demanded to transfer teenagers to the Ukrainian authorities, but the Russians refused. “For our part, we tried to return the boys home in different ways,” Lubinets added.

The unmandman also published a video with Ogannesyan, which circulates on social networks. The young man says: “Two for sure. All, this is death, boys. Farewell. Glory to Ukraine! ” A machine gun flashes in the frame. When this video was recorded, it is unknown.

The representative of the occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhya region, Vladimir Rogov, confirmed the murder of two teenagers in Berdyansk, writing that “Tigran Ogannesyan was previously detained for anti -Russian activities.” According to Rogov, at about 19 hours on June 24, teenagers, whom he calls “pro -Ukrainian terrorists”, opened fire from machine guns on the city embankment, after which they were “blocked and destroyed”.

The coordinator of the Ukrainian organization “Media Initiative for Human Rights” Olga Reshetilova said that a investigator with an armed convoy came for boys a few days ago, but they managed to escape. According to her, a lot does not converge in the Russian version of what happened, and the boys' parents believe that they were accused of attacking the security forces to kill. Reshetilova also notes that the families of adolescents have not yet shown their body.
