BAZA: On suspicion of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian Railways driver was detained

In the Amur Region, in the case of Gosizmen, the driver of the Russian Railways Ostap Demchuk was detained, Baza reports . According to the Telegram channel, a 47-year-old man is accused of the fact that from September 2022 to January 2023 he transferred money to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Demchuk, who works in the Amur branch of Russian Railways, was detained on June 14.

In June, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill, according to which it will be possible to block sites with calls to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other armed formations fighting on the side of Ukraine without a court.
