The Ussuri District Court decided to transfer the shaman Alexander Gabyshev to a milder type of treatment into a general psychiatric hospital - to the Yakut neuropsychiatric dispensary. This was told by his lawyer Alexei Pryanishnikov.
“In less than two years, two hospitals have been passed (with intensive supervision and specialtypes). Typically, patients are in each of these hospitals for two to three years. And also - now this is a hospital in his native for Alexander Yakutsk, ”he wrote.
It was in the Yakut Psydispenser of Gabyshev that Galoperidol was recognized as insane.
“But let's hope that at least medical strucks of the two previous hospitals will be tied on the hands of the Yakut psychiatrists and they will not repeat the“ mistakes ”of past years,” the lawyer wrote.
In March 2019, Gabyshev was going to walk 8 thousand km from Yakutia to Moscow to "expel Putin." In the fall, a criminal case of public calls for extremist activity was instituted on him, Gabyshev was delayed several times, breaking his “campaign”.
GosExpertiza recognized Gabyshev insane. In May 2020, he was forcibly sent to the Yakut neuropsychiatric dispensary. There he was about two months. Then Gabyshev announced a new “campaign in Moscow”, which was supposed to begin in March 2021. In July 2021, the Yakut City Court decided on the direction of Gabyshev for compulsory treatment.
Earlier in a conversation with The Insider, Gabyshev’s lawyer noted :
“The whole story with the forced treatment of Gabyshev and his imaginary insanity is pure punitive psychiatry for the political purposes of the Soviet model, for this the Soviet Union paid by membership in the World Psychiatric Association. But since Soviet times, the forced hospitalization of Gabyshev is the first such thing, a precedent. ”
