FSB: The criminal case of the armed rebellion was terminated

The FSB stated that the criminal case of the armed rebellion was terminated, state agencies reported .

“During the investigation of the criminal case on the fact of the armed rebellion, it was established that the participants on June 24 terminated criminal actions,” the FSB statement quotes Interfax.

A day earlier, the organizer of the rebellion, Evgeny Prigozhin, said that “the purpose of the campaign was to allow the destruction of the Wagner PMC and bring to justice all persons who, with their unprofessional actions, made a huge number of mistakes during their own.”

According to him, Wagner's PMC allegedly was going to disarm on June 30, but a blow was struck by his militants, as a result of which about 30 people were killed.

“We did not want to shed Russian blood. We went to demonstrate our protest, and not to overthrow power in the country, ”Prigozhin said.

On June 24, Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Prigozhin’s criminal case on the organization of a military rebellion would be terminated, he will “go to Belarus”.

Earlier today it became known that the Prigozhin plane landed in Belarus. However, whether he was aboard is unknown.
