The American company META, which owns Facebook and Instagram, launched a new social network - Threads. As reported on the company's website, you can write messages up to 500 signs in it, publish links, photos and videos lasting up to five minutes.
Threads is positioned as a text application to Instagram, you can enter a new social network using an Instagram account. The interface and functionality of the new social network resembles Twitter.
The Threads application is already available for downloading in the App Store and Google Play stores in more than a hundred countries, including the United States, Great Britain, Japan. In the European Union, it will not work yet. As the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri said in an interview with The Verge, this is due to "difficulties in compliance with some laws entering into force [in the EU] next year."
