An eyewitness who saw two defendants in the case of the “neo-Nazis from the Paragraph 88 group” ”Mikhail Balashov and Yegor Savelyev in the police department on Novokuznetskaya Street in Moscow, said that they were tortured by the security forces. According to Mediazona, other detained teenagers were also beaten.

The 18-year-old Balashov, whom the investigation considers the leader of the group, gave a confession, because "it is so pier that there are no more options." It is known that Saveliev at the age of 17 was accused of preparing the murder of “two or more” police officers and served several years.

Mediazona writes that, probably, Balashov and Savelyev were participants in the “autonomous cell” of NS/WP - the Nazis, arrested in 2022 in the case of attempted propagandist Vladimir Solovyov, attributed themselves to the same movement.
