The singer Shineid O'Connor died

Irish singer Shineid O'Connor died at the age of 56. It is reported by The Irish Times. She has three children left. Her son Shane died last year at the age of 17, having committed suicide.

O'Connor released 10 studio albums, and her cover for the song of Prince Nothing Compares 2 U was named the number one single in the world in 1990 according to Billboard Music Awards. In August 2017, the singer posted on the network a twelve -minute video made in the Travelodge motel. In the video, she cried and said that she was fighting hourly with a desire to commit suicide. In 2018, she accepted Islam and changed her name to Shuhad Sadatak.

In June 2021, she announced her immediate departure from the musical industry. Although the last studio album No Veteran Dies Alone was supposed to be released in 2022, O'Connor said she would not tour and promote it. She later abandoned her statement, explaining that it was a reaction to an insulting interview.

The singer suffered from a number of mental disorders for many years.
