
The 2nd Western District Military Court in Moscow sentenced to 12 participants in the Killers gang, headed by Aslan Gagiev (known by the nickname Dzhako). According to RBC from the courtroom, two defendants: Inal Zaseeva and Ruslan Yurtov - sentenced to life imprisonment, the rest received from 12 to 20 years in a maximum security colony.
In particular, Zaseeva found 16 people guilty of the murder, including the head of the Office for Combating the Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, Mark Mezaev, the head of the first criminal investigation department of the North Ossetian Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Cheldiev and his son. In addition, the killer attempted to live the police lieutenant colonel Aslan Kachmazov, who investigated the murder of colleagues.
Yurtov was tried for 11 murders. In particular, he shot the former owner of the shipbuilding company WADAN YARDS Andrei BURLAKOV and the investigator of the SKR transport department Alexander Leonov. The latter was killed by the ex-prosecutor of the rubberized district of Vladikavkaz Olga Shvetsova: Leonov, the former husband of her sister, at the time of death, shared the property from the ex-spray. Shevtsov was sentenced to organize the murder to 12 years in prison.
According to investigators, members of the Gagiev gang killed the mayor of Vladikavkaz Vitaly Karaev, Deputy Prime Minister North Ossetia Kazbek Pagiev and his driver; the owner of the Sudbusinessbank Alexander Slesarev, his wife, daughter and random witness; The owner of the Bank "National Capital" Dmitry Pelnik. The court lasted since December 2018. According to the investigation, the entire gang, consisting of more than 50 people, has committed at least 60 murders since 2004.
Gagiev himself is judged separately, the process in his case lasts since 2021 in the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don. Crime authority until 2015 was hidden abroad and was detained in Vienna. In 2018, he was extracted to Russia.
