There is no reception against the drone. Why does the metropolitan air defense cannot cope with Ukrainian drones

Starting from July 24, UAVs of UAVs in the capital acquired a systemic character. A little more than a week recorded at least five visually confirmed incidents with drones. One of them damaged the roof of the complex of buildings of the Ministry of Defense on Komsomolsky Prospekt, adjacent to the headquarters of the Fancy Bear, affiliated with the GRUCH group.

In addition, twice in three days (July 30 and August 1), drones hit the towers of the Moscow City complex. Moreover, they fell into the same tower-the IQ-Quarter, where there are residential apartments, offices of several Russian ministries and departments-the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Construction, as well as the Federal Agency for Nationalities, Rosakkreditation and Rosstandart.

On July 24 and 30 , as well as on August 1 , the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the suppression of drones and used the term “collapse”, that is, de facto explained the places of “arrivals” with its own actions.

What goals pursue raids of drones?

So far, it is not clear where exactly the Ukrainian drones are directed. In Moscow and the Moscow Region there is a huge number of military facilities (for example, the headquarters of the strategic missile forces in the village of Vlasikha in the Odintsovo district), and various “decision-making centers” (the Senate Palace and, with a certain stretch, “IQ-quarter” are suitable for this definition). But seriously counting on their defeat, or, moreover, the destruction of drones with a rather modest combat part is difficult.

Ukrainian military expert Leonid Dmitriev believes that the command of Ukraine really seeks to impress legitimate military goals (from military units and formations to enterprises of the military-industrial complex) located in Moscow:

The lesions used on the deep rear of the enemy have purely applied coordinates of military targets, or objects that ensure certain capabilities of the enemy in the conduct of an aggressive war against Ukraine. Along the way, the capabilities of the air defense on the route and other elements of ensuring such a defeat are studied.

The Z-Commentators are inclined to the version that Ukraine wants to force the additional funds of the air defense and electronic warfare from the front to protect Moscow, or is trying to destabilize the situation within the country.
