Representatives of Ekovas met with the overthrown President Niger Mohamed Bazum

The delegation of the economic community of Western Africa (Ekovas) met in Niame with the overthrown President Niger Mohamed Bazum, RFI radio station reports . The meeting was attended by the prime minister of the country Ali Mahaman Lamin Zane appointed by the rebels.

Representatives of Ekovas checked the conditions for the detention of the overthrown leader. Details of the meeting are not given.
