Fake Deputy Secretary of the Council of People's Commissars of the Russian Federation: in American biolaboratories in Ukraine, weapons were created selectively acting on certain ethnic groups

In an interview with Rossiy Gazeta, Deputy Secretary of the Council of People's Commissars of the Russian Federation Alexei Shevtsovsaid :

“The activities of Western biolaboratories in Ukraine, Georgia and a number of other post -Soviet countries are a threat to security on a scale of not only the region, but the whole world. It is not only about the risks of leaks of pathogens that can cause epidemics. It is confirmed that the United States is developing biological weapons, including aimed at certain ethnic groups. For this, DNA collections are collected. Studies are underway aimed at the release of strains of microorganisms that are immune to antibiotics, including reserve, the possibilities of transmitting dangerous diseases, such as brucellosis and zoonsous flu, and animals to humans are actively studied.

The threat of biological war did not arise today and not even in the current century. It is enough to recall how the American colonialists exterminated entire Indians' tribes, consciously endowing them with infected leprosy and smallpox blankets. Technologies have changed, but the concept remained the same. ”

This statement seemed to the Kremlin propagandists so important that on the newspaper’s website he was devoted to a separate publication before the full text of the interview, and RIA Novosti told about this in a special material.

The US accusations of the development of “ethnic bio -weapons”, that is, such strains of pathogens that act only on representatives of one ethnic group, but are safe for others, are no longer news. One of the first such thought was expressed by Mikhail Kovalchuk in 2015, giving a lecture in the Federation Council. In 2017, Vladimir Putin claimed that the United States for this purpose collect the genetic material of Russians of the Caucasian race. In March 2022, Igor Kirillov, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces, said about the American program for creating such weapons, and Sergei Lavrov repeated his thesis at a meeting with Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Turkey. Scientists have repeatedly refuted such statements, but, as we see, the idea for all its fantasticity turned out to be extremely tenacious.

Doctor of Biological Sciences Mikhail Gelfand in 2017 in an interview with the National News Service appreciated this concept:

“About genetic weapons are some kind of disgusting lie. There is no such weapon. People are too similar to each other so that you can create a specific weapon against some kind of race. Probably, it is possible to create-very expensive and very difficult-to create a weapon against some very small ethnic group, which has not mixed up with anyone for the last thousand years. Russians are not such an ethnic group. Probably, you can, spending crazy money, come up with how to destroy the inhabitants of the conditional Andaman Islands. But there are simpler ways for this. ”

According to Gelfand, in those years, rumors about genetic weapons were “used by certain circles in the struggle for financing”.

The biologist and popularizer of science, Alexander Panchin, after the performance of Lavrov in 2022, wrote in "New Izvestia":

“The idea that we can make a weapon that would selectively work against a certain ethnic group is generally science fiction. <...> Firstly, it is very difficult to choose such a genetic marker that would be characteristic of only one population. This marker should also be a convenient target for a certain virus, which greatly complicates the task. Let's say SARS-COV-2 penetrates the cells, interacting with the ACE2 receptor, and HIV with CCR5, but these receptors do not differ in Americans, French, Germans or Russians. Variations in these receptors exist, the frequencies of these variations can also differ slightly in different populations, but nothing more. Roughly speaking, at best you could make a weapon that will kill 5% of one population and 10% of another population or such.

At the same time, the virus should be very contagious (otherwise the weapon will not work). And at the same time, the virus should not mutate (it does not happen). After all, if it is contrast and mutate, then your weapon can easily change its specificity and still sooner or later will hit the creator. For example, the same SARS-COV-2 quickly evolved and new more contagious options like delta and omicron appeared. No one can control or even predict how the evolution of the released pathogen will go. ”

The biologist and physiologist Polina Loseva then wrote in the Russian Scientific and popular publication “N+1”:

“The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that Ukrainian laboratories could engage in“ creation of bio -agents that can selectively hit various ethnic groups, in particular the Slavs. ” Apparently, this refers to a genetic weapon - one that will definitely distinguish the Slav from the non -Slavic and does not harm “his own”. Genetic technologies do not stand still, but no one has seen such weapons yet. We regularly write about modern biotechnologies and everything that we know about them confirms: the creation of a “genetic gun”, firstly, a meaningless enterprise, and secondly impossible.

“Ordinary” biological weapons should act about all people about the same. Bacteria or viruses are illegible and infect everyone in a row, not paying attention to the eye cut or skin pigmentation. In order for the weapon to affect the representatives of one ethnic group and spare all the rest (which not even every anthropologist will easily distinguish, not to mention the layers), its tip should work at the genes level.

But you still need to get to the genes. First, “ethnic weapons” need to get inside the body, then inside the cells of this body, find the genome there, look for the target sequence of nucleotides on it, and if it is found, “shoot”-that is, to somehow harm a person. <...>

All genotherapeutic drugs that we have ever written about are administered into the body through injection: sometimes directly into the problem organ, for example, in the eye, sometimes intravenously. Nobody has yet come up with other delivery options, because such molecular structures are quite large. These are at least two threads of RNA or RNA and protein (if we are talking about the popular CRISPR/CAS system) - and they cannot climb into the body through the mucous barrier in the intestines or nose.

Even the majority of coronavirus vaccines - that vector, that mrn - are administered only intramuscularly, although they need to deliver only one fragment of DNA and RNA to the cage. Some companies, however, develop nasal forms of drugs in the form of a spray. But the vaccine delivered in this way will not enter the bloodstream. It will only work at the level of the nasal mucosa, and all its effects will already be the result of the work of local immunity. Therefore, nasal genetic weapons will be able to hit only part of the cells in the nose of the victims. To harm a person seriously, you need to deliver him immediately to the blood. <...>

In general, there are problems with the delivery of genetic weapons. In what form it is not released, the likelihood that it will fall into the victim’s body is quite small. Perhaps the mass “vaccination” of the population would help here - but, as practice has already shown, even the Russian authorities are problematic to deal with this in Russia. What can we say about a probable enemy.

Not everything that floats in the blood automatically enters the cells. Therefore, the developers of genetic therapy have long beaten on how to teach the cells to “swallow” the medicine. So far, they do the opposite: they force the medicine to invade the cage. They dress in a shell from a real virus that helps the drug infect the cage.

For example, adenovirus vaccines like “satellite V” are also arranged. In MRNC-vaccines and some types of genetic therapy, lipids are used.

But the shell increases the size of the current particle. Now it is even more difficult for her to go through the mucous membranes, and indeed through any barriers in the body - and such separates blood from many organs, for example, from the senses, lungs or sex glands. Therefore, the drug can relatively easily penetrate only into the organs that are well supplied with blood (perhaps that is why many pilot projects in the field of genetic therapy have aim to red bone marrow or liver). And to the neurons of the brain, for example, in this way they can not reach at all.

So the creators of potential weapons will have to come up with a specific organ that will become a target, and even such that it is easy to get into it. Otherwise, the weapon will “spread” through the body - and will lose its effectiveness.

Suppose that the hypothetical weapon nevertheless broke into some cells and climbed into their cores. Further to him - unlike the medicine for which doctors think - it is necessary to “decide”, to act or not. And for this it is necessary to identify your target-some kind of section of the genome, which is found only in those who are aimed at the creators of the weapon. <...>

It turned out that from a genetic point of view, the race is not a set of genes that people do not have other races. This is a set of spot variations in the genetic text, which are found with a certain frequency. That is, relatively speaking, the increased probability of finding options A, B and C and the lowered - for D, E and F. Therefore, it is difficult to determine which race belonging to a particular person, simply reading it with the genome. To do this, check which nucleotides are located in several hundred points in its genome. And even after that there is a chance that he will be something between the two races-for example, due to the fact that his ancestors repeatedly moved from place to place and launched in marriage with the locals. And the differences between individual nationalities, especially neighboring people, thus detecting it will be even more difficult.

In any case, in order to lead a weapon on people of a particular race (not to mention the ethnic group), you need to set a genetic recognition system for several tens, if not hundreds of points at once. This means to deliver hundreds of RNA molecules to the cage at the same time (so much will not fit into the lipid particle or the viral vector). And even if this turns out, they almost definitely cannot work in all places at the same time. <...> So, the unnecessary victims are inevitable - false positive “shots. Inevitable are inevitable - in most cases, the weapon will only visit part of the regions in the genome, and the effect will be weaker than the one that the creators counted on.

It must be borne in mind that cells, as a rule, resist. DNA reparation systems are looking for and flies up gaps, the second copy of the gene comes into business instead of the first, and if the damage is too serious, the cell launches apoptosis. <...> So, the effectiveness of genetic weapons in the cells will be low. And the maximum that it will be capable of is to make many small cuts in DNA and push the cage to suicide. And this will not necessarily affect the life of the whole organism - especially if the concentration of the weapon in the blood is low and it is scattered into various organs and tissues.

Does this mean that “ethnic” weapons are impossible? Perhaps yes. Too many barriers separate us at the current stage of development of science even from the genetic weapons of mass defeat - that is, one that would attack the genome of people, without analyzing races, ethnic groups and sexual orientations. But even if it is possible to invent this, it is impossible to imagine a system that would recognize hundreds of targets in the genome pointedly and without misfires. ”

It should be noted that at least one program of creating ethnically selective biological weapons really existed. In the 1970s, in South Africa, in the framework of the so-called project “Shore”, they tried to get a strain of a virus, which is dangerous for the black race and harmless to the whites. The work was unsuccessful.

As for the “extermination” by the colonialists of the indigenous population of North America with the help of blankets infected with smallpox and leprosy, The Insider has already written about this story in the Anti -Face section. We are talking about the private initiative of one British officer who tried to free the besieged fort by giving the Indians two blankets and two scarves used by smallpox. This did not bring the result, since the Ospa virus is not transmitted through objects. Apparently, there was no other attempts to deliberately infect the enemy during the colonization of America, and the mention in this context of leprosy, which, due to the long incubation period (3-5 years) is generally useless as a biological weapon, is probably the personal contribution of Shevtsov to the creation of a myth.
