The Oscar Committee of Ukraine has chosen the film that will represent the country at the 96th Academy Awards ceremony.
Committee members voted to nominate Mstislav Chernov’s documentary “20 Days in Mariupol ,” which tells the story of the first days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, for nomination in the “Best International Feature Film” category.
