
The company associated with the Wagner PMC acquired two satellites of the remote probing of land from the Chinese company. The contract between the Chinese Beijing Yunze Technology Co Ltd and the Russian Nika-Fright was concluded in November 2022, eight months after the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine. This was reported by AFP.
According to an unnamed source related to the security sphere in one of the European countries, the contract provides for the provision of images on request, which allowed the PMC to receive satellite images of both Ukraine and the regions of Africa, where its mercenaries , including Libya , Sudan, the Central African Republic and Mali .
Moreover, according to the same source, at the end of May 2023, PMC ordered pictures of the territory of Russia: from the Ukrainian border to Moscow - a route along which a PMC column was moving during its rebellion .
