Hungary proposed to become an intermediary in the return of Armenian prisoners of war

Hungary is ready to act as an intermediary in negotiations on the return of Armenian prisoners of war from Azerbaijan, Armenia Ambassador to Armenia Anna Maria Siko told Armenia Armenia.

She also said that Hungary provided the Armenian Society of the Red Cross with € 102 thousand to assist people forcibly moved from Nagorno -Karabakh as a result of the “anti -terrorist operation” of Azerbaijan and suffered during the explosion in the fuel.

According to the agreement on the ceasefire of November 10, 2020, which stopped the war in Nagorno -Karabakh, Armenia and Azerbaijan were to exchange prisoners of war and other retained persons, as well as the bodies of the dead. At the same time, more than 140 names were still on the Armenian list for exchange in November 2020.
