Turkish President Erdogan urged all "representatives of the nation" to reach the rally in support of Palestine

Erdogan announced a rally in support of Palestine, which will be held at Ataturka Airport in Istanbul.

“I invite every representative of our nation to the great Palestinian rally, which we will spend tomorrow at the Ataturka Airport, where we will once again show our world our solidarity with our Palestinian brothers,” he wrote in X (ex-twitter).

Earlier, Erdogan did not express such a categorical support of any of the parties to the conflict. On October 25, he called Hamas a "liberation group of Mujahideen" and canceled his trip to Israel. He also complained that the Israeli side “abused the goodwill” of Turkey during the process of normalization of Israeli-Turkish relations, without taking retaliatory steps towards resting.

The AL-monitor reported that the Turkish authorities, who traditionally maintained good relations with Hamas, asked one of the leaders of the Ismail Hania group and his environment to leave the country. As the candidate of political sciences and an expert in the field of international relations, Kerim Has, explained to The Insider, "Erdogan did not break with Hamas, but publicly retired, because due to the economic crisis it needs the support of the United States."
