The authorities of St. Petersburg unfold additional beds for patients with COVID-19, SARS, mercenary pneumonia, influenza. In hospitals, visits were banned with the exception of those who care for heavy and lying patients. In educational institutions they will measure the temperature.
According to the St. Petersburg Rospotrebnadzor, over the past 4 weeks from the 47th week to the 50th week of 2023, the incidence of SARS and the flu of the total population increased by 87.1%: among adults-2.2 times, among children-by 65%. Over the same period, the incidence of COVID-19 increased by 62.4%, and community pneumonia-by 35.3%. During the month, the incidence of Covid-19 doubled.
The head of the Federal Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova on the eve reported that in Russia it was not planned to introduce a mandatory mask regime and any restrictions on the time of the New Year holidays.
