In Moscow, the paramedic of military unit No. 61899 in the Moscow settlement of Mosrentgen Roman Esenov was forcibly sent to the front, despite the category “B” in a military ticket and mental disorder. This was reported by the publication “Entitial Media” with reference to human rights activist Elena Popov from the “Movement of Conscious Refusers” and Esenov’s relatives.
Esenov serves as a paramedic under a contract. In the fall of 2023, he had a conflict with the boss, the company commander, who had returned from the war shortly before. The company commander beat the paramedic so much that he was in the hospital. After beating, Esenov filed an application with the prosecutor's office.
The family of Esenova believe that after that the authorities decided to send a paramedic to the front to interfere with the proceedings. On January 12, the paramedic was taken out in an unknown direction by bus. Elena Popova believes that he is being taken to the war zone right now.
