GRCHC employees interpreted this fragment as the “scene of the non -verbal interaction of two persons of the same biological sex (female)” and saw in it “gestures of affection and tactile gestures, as well as scenes of kisses of two persons of the same biological sex”.
The defense insisted that the clip “does not contain scenes of sexual relations between representatives of the same sex, but promotes love for Russia and its cities-St. Petersburg and Moscow.” However, the judge did not agree with these arguments and found the television channel guilty of "distribution among minor information demonstrating non -traditional sexual relations."
