Videos of far-right violence

From January 1 to 14, 2024, videos with scenes of attacks on people of “non-Slavic appearance,” homeless people, and drunk people again appeared in far-right Telegram channels. And also videos where the far right broke windows in kiosks identified as belonging to gypsies and migrants, cut the wheels of cars with license plates from Dagestan, and stole food from a migrant courier from Yandex.delivery.

On January 1, a “New Year’s” video compilation was posted on behalf of the Sparrow Crew organization with scenes of five attacks using pepper spray: on a person of “non-Slavic” appearance, on people called “Indian” by the attackers, on an unknown person, and two scenes of attacks on homeless people. In the latter case, one of the attackers was caught on video wearing a “Borovikov T-shirt” and boots with white laces.

On the same day, a video was posted on another channel where a group of teenagers attacked a girl and two young men, one of whom was “Caucasian in appearance,” standing at the entrance with a spray can. The attackers asked the company for directions, a native of the Caucasus began to show how to get there, and in response they sprayed him. Then they sprayed the second person with a can and ran away.

On January 2, in a train car, two ultra-rightists attacked a man of Central Asian appearance, another one filmed what was happening on video from the vestibule. The attackers in black masks entered the carriage and began beating the victim with heavy boots, including in the head. One was wearing a white bomber jacket, the other a black Lonsdale jacket, gray camouflage pants and high boots with white laces. The attackers were scared off by other passengers who began calling the police.

On January 3, a video appeared in which a group of teenagers attacked a peer near private houses. The description states that before this, the victim was insulted “on ethnic grounds”, and then, provoking a conflict, he was hit several times.

On January 6, a new video of the attack appeared. Judging by the comments, the teenager asked a passerby of “southern appearance” for a cigarette, who replied that he only consumed nasvay. The teenagers followed the man to the entrance and began accusing him of writing to some girl. The teenager then sprayed the victim with a gas canister. The attacker was dressed as a Nazi skinhead and wore a mask. The attack took place in Vladimir.

On January 3, a video appeared of an attack with a spray can on a person of “non-Slavic” appearance in the vestibule of a train. The attacker called out to the victim, and when he turned around, sprayed the can.

On the same day, another video appeared where teenagers attacked a drunk man: they threw him to the ground and began to kick him. The masked attacker struck the victim's head several times with a heavy boot and then began jumping on it. The second one filmed the beating.

In another video, a group of three teenagers sprayed a can into the face of a passerby of “non-Slavic” appearance in a red jacket.

In the next video, two teenagers attacked a young man of “Asian appearance” who was standing at a bus stop with a spray can. An accomplice of the attackers filmed the incident.

On January 4, a video was published in which two attackers with a dummy gun attacked a passerby. Another person filmed this on his phone. The victim was able to stand on his feet and jumped away from the young people. After that, one of the ultra-rightists threatened him with a pistol. The video's caption states that the man looked "Caucasian" and was looking for a bookmark.

On January 6, a video compilation of the attacks was published.

In the first video, a group of five far-right activists attacked a man on a fake date. The young people beat the victim and chased him around the yard. Twice he was knocked down and kicked. Eventually, the victim was allowed to get to his feet and leave. The report states that the victim is a “Kazakh” who came on a date with a young man. Some of the attackers were dressed as Nazi skinheads.

In the next video, a group of ultra-rightists spray-sprayed two passers-by of “southern appearance” who were walking with groceries from a store.

In the third video, the far-right man caught up and kicked a dark-skinned young man; the victim was called “Indian.”

On January 7, a video appeared in which several people were simultaneously kicking a victim lying on the ground. The summary states that the reason for the attack was that the victim was an anti-fascist punk.

On January 9, a video was published showing attacks on anti-fascists in Ryazan.

In the first video, the attackers demanded that the victim speak negatively about anti-fascists. They probably sprayed gas in his face before doing this.

The second attack is more serious. First, a Nazi skinhead with a tattoo on his neck grabbed the young man by the hair and demanded that he speak negatively about anti-fascists. Probably, before this, the anti-fascist was beaten and peppered. (Bruises are visible on his face and he is coughing.) Another Nazi skinhead hit an anti-fascist on the head several times. Two more attackers standing further away were caught in the frame. Another person filmed what was happening on video.

On January 10, a video appeared in which an ultra-right activist, in a narrow passage between two fences, attacked a passerby who was talking on the phone in his native language. The attacker caught up with the man, sprayed gas at him, and then beat him with his hands and feet. The description states that the attack took place “in a city on the Volga.”

On January 10, a video appeared of a group of 4-5 ultra-rightists attacking a courier in the courtyard of a residential building. Several people filmed this at once.

On January 13, a video was published showing a group of teenagers attacking a drunk passerby.

On January 13, a video was published showing an attack on members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation from Rybinsk. The victims were knocked down and kicked.

On January 13, a video was published in which two teenagers accosted a drunk passer-by of Central Asian appearance. When he tried to get away from the teenagers, one of them caught up with him and kicked him in the back.

On January 14, a video was published in which a group of teenagers sprayed a migrant with pepper spray. One attacker was wearing camouflage pants and combat boots. The victim is likely a housing and communal services worker. After the attack, the teenagers ran away.

On January 14, a video was published showing an attack on a Syrian man on a fake date. On behalf of the girl, a native of Syria was given a date on a deserted outskirts. When he got out of the car, he was attacked by a group of 6 masked teenagers dressed in the style of football hooligans.

In addition, the videos also included scenes of property damage.

On January 1, a video appeared with cuts to the wheels of cars that, according to the captions to the video, belonged to natives of the Caucasus and Gypsies.

On January 2, an ultra-rightist slashed the tire of a car with license plates from Dagestan. In the winter of 2023, this car was parked in St. Petersburg on Kanonersky Island. It is likely that the attack took place there.

On January 5, a video was published where the wheels of a white VAZ with a registration number in Dagestan were cut. One ultra-right activist cut the wheels of a car, and the second filmed a video.

On January 6, a video appeared showing the wheels of a white Lexus car being cut. One of the attackers was cutting tires, the other was filming a video.

On January 7, a video was published showing windows being broken in the car of a native of the Caucasus.

On January 10, a video of car tires being cut was published. The video was filmed by the attacker himself. The description states that the car is registered in Tajikistan, but the number was not included in the video.

On January 1, a video was published of the theft of a package of food from “Tasty and period” from a thermal bag on a Yandex courier’s bicycle. The theft was explained by the “non-Slavic appearance” of the courier.

On January 1, a video appeared in which a teenager dressed as a Nazi skinhead raised his arm in a Nazi salute, broke a window with his elbow and ran away. The video was filmed by his accomplice. The description said that it was in Bryansk, the house belongs to gypsies, and the window in it was broken on New Year's Eve.

On January 3, two teenagers broke the window of a shawarma kiosk at a bus stop, while their accomplice was filming from afar.

On January 3, the attacker broke the glass of a kiosk with a hammer. The accomplice was filming. The report stated that the kiosk belonged to a “non-Russian.”
