Over the Ukrainian Alexander Marchenko, who was convicted of “espionage” in Russia, mocked in the colony - “first department”

Ukrainian Alexander Marchenko, convicted in Russia for 10 years in a maximum security colony on charges of “espionage” (Article 276 of the Criminal Code), is subjected to constant bullying in conclusion. This was reported by the human rights organization "First Department".

Since the beginning of 2024, Marchenko spent only two days in a regular cell. On January 3, he was sent to a schizo for seven days, and on January 10 - to a chamber -type premises (PCT) for six months. The reason for the placement was the “violation of the form of clothing”, fabricated at the direction of “leadership in Moscow” (“First Department” suggests that we are talking about the FSB).

In two years of the conclusion, Marchenko, according to the “first department”, spent 85 days in a schizo, six months in the EPT, nine months in the PKT. He was also fined 30 thousand rubles for the “discredit” of the Russian Army, which Marchenko, according to the court, carried out right due to the bars.

As the Insider previously wrote, in April 2021, Marchenko was sentenced to ten years in prison. According to investigators, in May 2018, he received from an employee of the foreign intelligence service of Ukraine Peter Khomenko the task of acquiring spare parts for the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems in Russia and $ 163 thousand for their purchase.

The FSB believes that "secret products were supposed to be transferred to the Ukrainian special exporter of military equipment, the state company UkroboronService through the intermediary company in Macedonia."
