
Mobile operators from September 1, 2024 will be obliged to terminate contracts with clients unilaterally if the number is not used for 90 or more days. The document appeared on the portal of legal information, drew the attention of the Mediazon.
According to the Decree of the Government, “the absence of the use of communication services by the subscriber in the period established in the contract, but not less than 90 calendar days, is recognized as invalid actions aimed at terminating the contract at the initiative of the subscriber.
The subscriber is entitled to terminate the contract at any time unilaterally.
Earlier in the rules there was no such paragraph, and each operator independently chose whether to turn off the subscriber from the number, and under what conditions.
