The FSB opened new criminal cases against Ilya Ponomarev. One of them is about Gosizmen in the form of a transition to the side of the enemy

The FSB of Russia aroused several new affairs against the ex-deputy of the State Duma, Ilya Ponomarev, including the Stateizer in the form of a transition to the enemy side, participation in a terrorist organization and public calls for terror. According to RIA Novosti with reference to their own source, all cases are combined into one production.

Ponomareva, who lives in Ukraine and received citizenship there, the Russian court arrested in absentia in August 2022, later he was wanted. Earlier it was known that the ex-deputy started cases under articles about “fakes” about the Russian army and the justification of terrorism.

Since September 2022, different people in Russia periodically have searches related to affairs against Ponomarev. So, in June last year, the security forces came to the ex-deputy from the Yabloko party Nikita Ilyin.

Ilya Ponomarev is associated with the “Legion of Freedom of Russia” - a detachment that allegedly consists of Russians and fights in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ponomareva was also accused of the fact that he was behind the Telegram channel “Morning Dagestan”, which, among others, incited anti-Semitic sentiments in the republic and coordinated the actions of pogroms who burst into the airport of Makhachkala. Ponomarev himself denied the connection with the channel.
