In the Murmansk region, a participant in protests was detained against the arrest of eco -activist Fail Alsynov in the Bashkir Baymak. According to the RusNews publication, this is Insaf Salamov, who has two minor children.

Gulsina Islamova, his wife, announced the detention of Salamova. She said that her husband asked her to bring a passport to the police department. After two days of arrest, a court took place in the case of “organizing and participating in the riots. According to his decision, Salamov was sent to a pre -trial detention center for two months. RusNews notes that this is the first case of detention of a rally participant in Baimak outside of Bashkortostan.

In January, several thousands of “folk gatherings” took place in Baymak in support of Fail Alsynov, sentenced to four years in a colony on charges of “exciting hatred or enmity”. During the rally before the verdict to the eco -activist, local residents, reacting to the detentions that the police conducted, began to throw gloves, hats and snowballs into them. Police officers used batons, tear gas and smoke bombs.

Alsynov's associates claim that his term is the revenge of the authorities for what happened in August 2020. Then, for two weeks, eco -activists did not allow to destroy Mount Kostau, which the local authorities wanted to determine for industrial development. One of the leaders of protest was Alsynov.

After the protests in Bashkortostan, the detained activist Dim Davletkildin was hospitalized with a fracture of the spinal process. The case of participation in the "riots" was also instituted against him.
