On February 19-25, 2024, a new batch of videos with direct actions appeared in far-right Telegram channels. The video included attacks on people of “non-Slavic appearance”, homeless people, drunk people, arson of an apartment door, damaged banners of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, punctures of tires of cars with license plates from the North Caucasus regions.
Violence
On February 25, 2024, a video appeared in one of the far-right Telegram channels showing an attack by a group of neo-Nazis on two people of “non-Slavic appearance” in a forest park. The attackers sprayed a can into the face of one of the passers-by and began to beat him. The second one managed to escape. The victim was thrown into the snow, kicked, beaten with a telescopic baton and chain, and jumped on his torso. At least 10 people took part in the beating, two more were filming from different angles. Many of the attackers were wearing bomber jackets, rolled-up jeans, and heavy boots.
On February 21, a video appeared showing the beating of a drunk passerby. Two Nazi skinheads threw the victim to the ground and hit him in the head several times with heavy boots. The attackers were wearing heavy boots with white laces, blue jeans with roll-ups and bomber jackets. The description of the video states that the man was drunk, and after the beating he lay unconscious for about an hour. There is no snow on the ground, and the victim is dressed quite lightly. The video may have been taken a long time ago.
Petty violence
On February 22, a video was posted showing two people attacking a homeless man on the sidewalk, knocking him to the ground and kicking him in the head and body several times before running away. Their accomplice filmed the attack. The attackers were wearing bomber jackets, camouflage pants, and high boots with white laces.
On February 22, a video appeared of an attack with a spray can near the entrance. The attacker ran up to a man standing near the entrance and sprayed gas in the face. His accomplice filmed it. The attacker hid his face with a mask and was wearing sand-colored military pants. The reason for the attack was that the victim was drunk.
On February 25, a video appeared in which a teenager and his older accomplice attacked a man in the courtyard of a residential building. The sound of the canister being sprayed and the victim's scream can be heard on the audio. The description states that the victim is a migrant, and the attackers are Nazi skinheads who sprayed gas at him and hit him with a hammer.
On February 25, a video compilation of three minor attacks appeared. In the first, a Nazi skinhead kicked several times in the body of a man sleeping near the entrance. In the second, Nazi skinheads kicked a drug addict several times in a vacant lot. The description states that the victim was holding a syringe. Three people took part in the attack, another one filmed the video. In the third case, a group of ultra-right activists accosted a young man wearing high boots with red laces and “unfollowed him from leftist movements.”
On February 25, a video was published where the attackers accosted Communist Party agitators near a rally in Smolensk. Two far-right activists shouted insults at the participants of the Communist Party rally in Smolensk, and then pestered the agitators (a young man and a girl) with the question “to which nation does the “Smolensk land” belong.”
On February 24, a video appeared showing an attack on a passerby. The attackers chased the young man, threw him into a snowdrift and kicked him several times. Three people took part in the attack, and another one filmed the video. The attackers hid their faces and were wearing high boots and trousers with rolls. The description states that the victim is “Asian” and that the attack was caused by him speaking his native language on the phone.
Arson
On February 21, a video was published where the attacker set fire to the door of an apartment in a residential building and ran away. The description states that gypsies live in the apartment.
Damage to property
On February 23, a video was published where a teenager punctured a car tire with a screwdriver. And his accomplice was filming a video. The description states that the car belongs to a native of the Caucasus.
On February 24, a video was published where the far right threw paint at the billboard of the Communist Party presidential candidate Kharitonov. Three people were caught on video while their accomplice was filming. The video showed a sign for the “Mangalnaya N1” establishment, located on Novoselov Street in Ryazan.
On the same day, a video was published in which two far-right activists threw green paint at a Communist Party billboard posted for the presidential election.
On February 25, a video of a black car puncturing a wheel with a screwdriver was published. The report states that the car belonged to natives of the Caucasus.
On February 19, a video appeared showing a car tire with a Georgian flag sticker being cut. One of the offenders was caught on video, he was dressed like a Nazi skinhead. The channel where the video appeared is run by teenagers from Volgograd.
On February 20, a video was published where two teenagers slashed the wheels of a car registered in Dagestan. The channel where the video appeared is also run by teenagers from Volgograd.
On February 19, a video of a bicycle wheel being cut was published. The report stated that the bicycle belonged to a migrant.
