The case of a “USSR citizen” was brought to court

A “citizen of the USSR” from the Bryansk region is accused under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).

In February 2024, in the Bryansk region, the investigation of the criminal case of a 52-year-old resident of Bryansk under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).

According to the press service, she was a member of the Bryansk branch of the “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” (“Union of Slavic Forces of Russia” (“USSR”)), recognized by the court as extremist, and continued her participation in the activities of the organization “through personal conversations with other persons , persuading the latter to follow the ideas of the extremist organization.”

The criminal case with the indictment approved by the prosecutor is sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
