US Vice-President Kamalla Harris demanded that Hamas have an immediate ceasefire for a period of six weeks. At the same time, she urged Israel to increase the supply of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, where, according to her, innocent people suffer from a humanitarian disaster. Reuters quotes Harris, noting that today it is one of the most sharp comments from a senior US representative to Israel.

“Hamas must agree to this deal. Let's make a deal to cease fire. (...) People in gas are starving. (...) The Israeli government should do more to significantly increase the flow of assistance. No excuses, ”Harris said.

On Sunday, March 3, the Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo for the next round of negotiations on the ceasefire. The Israeli newspaper Akhronot said that Israel boycotted these negotiations, as Hamas refused to provide a complete list with hostages that are still alive and remained captive to terrorists.

It is known that on Monday, March 4, a member of the Israeli Extraordinary Military Account Benny Ganz will meet in Washington with Harris, and the next day - Secretary of State Enthony Blinken. At the same time, US President Amos Hokhstein will visit Beirut to negotiate conflict on the Livano-Israeli border.
