Lithuania President Gitanas Nauceda commented on an attack on Leonid Volkov, saying that Putin here is "no one is afraid." In his opinion, the attack on Volkov could be committed "under the influence of the Kremlin."

“There is no doubt that such things are planned in advance ... It is clear that such things are planned, and we should not be surprised. But I want to clearly say that the services will give an assessment, conduct an investigation and, I hope, will find the perpetrators. I can only say one thing to Putin - no one is afraid of you here, ”Nauceda said.

The anti -terrorist unit of the ARAS police is engaged in the investigation of the attack on Volkov. The Deputy General Commissioner of the Police Saulus Tamulyavicius said that the investigation is considering several versions of what happened.

The attack on Leonid Volkov occurred at his house in Vilnius on the evening of March 12.
