The administrator of a Telegram channel who published threats against the commander of the assault company of the Espanyola detachment was detained.

On April 5, 2024, 18-year-old Rashid Rakhimov was detained in Yekaterinburg.

Let us recall that in October 2023, the investigative department for the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg opened a criminal case for threats against a famous fan of FC Zenit (the Coalition group) and the commander of the assault company of the Espanyol detachment, Mikhail Turkanov, who condemned the activities of the beating gang townspeople Threats on behalf of natives of Azerbaijan appeared in one of the Telegram channels, the phone numbers and address of the fan were also published there, and threats were made to deal with his family.

Rakhmanov was the administrator of the Telegram channel where threats were spread. It is reported that in addition to the episode with Turkanov, the channel distributed “extremist materials” and organized “harassment against various people, including those based on nationality (mainly Armenians).”

A criminal case has been initiated against Rakhimov under Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national hatred).

The Kalininsky District Court took Rakhimov into custody.
