The court in Volgograd terminated the student’s case under the article on the promotion of LGBTK+ due to photographs in women's clothing

Central District Court of Volgograd He refused the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in bringing to administrative responsibility a student of socio-pedagogical university Yegor Romanenkov. He was accused of promoting “non-traditional” sexual relations because of photographs in a female image on a social network. The publication "Caucasus. Realia" drew attention to this.

The student posted a picture in makeup and women's clothing on his VKontakte page. The Ministry of Internal Affairs decided that the student thus "deliberately distorts his installation data and promotes himself, calling a woman, while being a man." Documents were added to the case file that Romanenkov was twice brought to the university to disciplinary liability for the “propaganda” of LGBTK+, and also received warnings about a possible administrative punishment.

Romanenkov and his defense said that he had never promoted the floor change. The student is fond of acting and plays in the KVN team. For one of the productions of a humorous number, he changed into a woman, and previously won the student festival in the nomination “For Best Male Role”.

The student himself believes that he was brought to disciplinary responsibility for an unsuccessful joke against the rector.

The magistrate court recognized the absence of the composition of the offense, agreeing with the arguments of the student, and admitted that the photograph in the female image for a number in KVN does not propagate LGBTK+.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs appealed and tried to challenge this decision. The Central District Court of Volgograd canceled the decision on the absence of the composition of the offense, but soon terminated the case at the expiration of the statute of limitations and did not punish Romanenkov.
