Belousov’s candidate promised to solve problems with payments, medical care and housing for the military

Candidate for the post of Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov spoke at a meeting of the defense and security committee. He promised, in particular, to solve problems with the benefits and medical care of war participants in Ukraine.

“I believe, there is absolutely a mess when the participants of the one who come on vacation are driven from civilian medical institutions and sent to hospitals, which are often crowded, this issue must be resolved. This also applies to excess bureaucracy and paperwork related to the confirmation of the benefits of military personnel, ”he said.

At the same time, Belousov noted that the monetary allowance of military personnel "is at a good level." And he said that it was necessary to work on providing participants in the war with housing.

On May 12, Vladimir Putin presented the Federation Council candidacy of Andrei Belousov for the post of Minister of Defense instead of Sergei Shoigu. Earlier, Belousov served as the first deputy chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
