The performance of the ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Svetlana Zakharova was canceled in Ljubljana at the request of the Ukrainian embassy, ​​as well as the community of Ukrainians in Slovenia. This is stated on the Facebook Foreign Ministry page.

“Russian culture is a culture of aggression, terror, expansion and propaganda. We thank our partners for the prevention of the spread of the so -called “great art” of Russia on world scenes and platforms, ”the report said.

In August, the Modanse Bolshoi Theater was stated at the Lyububwean Festival. In this performance, Zakharova plays the role of Coco Chanel.

Earlier, the performance with the participation of Zakharova was canceled in South Korea. As reported by The Korea Times, this happened after "issues were raised regarding the appropriateness of resolution of the performances of persons supporting Vladimir Putin." The center affected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea announced the cancellation of the performance.

Since 2006, Svetlana Zakharova has been in the Council for Culture and Art under the President of Russia. In addition, for several years she was a deputy of the State Duma from United Russia. In 2014, Zakharova signed a letter from cultural figures “On supporting the position of the President of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and Crimea”.
