Teenager attacked over hairstyle

On July 6, 2024, in Novosibirsk, on the bank of the Ob River in the SNT "Kedr", two young people beat up a 16-year-old teenager on the beach in the Pervomaysky district because of his hairstyle.

According to the victim's mother, "one of the attackers began asking what gender the child was, and then began insulting my son because of his haircut. They told me that I was a 'wrong' mother. My son stood up for me and asked them not to swear."

At the emergency room, the teenager was diagnosed with a concussion and multiple bruises.

The victim's mother filed a complaint with the police.
