On December 11, 2024, the Klinsky City Court of the Moscow Region sentenced the case of a threat to murder on the motive of national hatred (part 2 of article 119 of the Criminal Code).
Alexander Palubin, who, as follows from the judicial protocol, was on the bench, seeing an unfamiliar woman with a “non -Slavic appearance” on the street, began to shout at her insult and threats. In addition, Palubin did not allow the woman to leave, blocked her path and threatened her murder. It is reported that his actions were motivated by hatred of natives of Azerbaijan.
The court found Palubin to be guilty and the sentence for 2 years in prison.
The verdict became known only in April 2025.
