In the Kemerovo region, a sentence was passed under Art. 205.2 CC

At the beginning of December 2024, in the Kemerovo region, a court sentenced Oleg Tyryshkin under Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activities).

The reason for initiating the case was several comments on VKontakte that Taryshkin wrote when discussing the death of the former head of Chechnya, Akhmat Kadyrov, during the terrorist attack at the Dynamo stadium in Grozny on May 9, 2004.

The court sentenced Tyryshkin to two years in prison with a ban on using the Internet for two years.

In the late 90s, Taryshkin participated in the blocking of the Trans-Siberian Railway together with the miners of Anzhero-Sudzhensk. In the early 2000s, he headed the local branch of the LDPR party. He was the chairman of the trade union body of the city federation of labor of the interregional association of workers' unions "Defense of Labor", gave speeches criticizing the activities of the Governor of Kuzbass A.A. Tuleev. In 2005 he created a local branch of the United Civil Front. In 2009, Tyryshkin headed the independent trade union of miners in Anzhero-Sudzhensk. In 2019, he led a protest among medical workers.

The Anzhero-Sudzhensky City Court fined Tyryshkin several times under Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offences.
