300 thousand rubles will be paid to young families in Rostov

The Legislative Assembly of the Rostov region adopted a law establishing payments for young families. According to the chairman of the legislative assembly, Alexander Ishchenko, this decision is directly related “to steps to increase the birth rate.”

The speaker explained that the region was included in the federal project “Family”. Within its framework, parents under 35 years of age will be able to receive 300 thousand rubles for their third or subsequent child. They are also compensated for half the cost of their child’s education at a university or college.

In addition, rental points for essential items for newborns will be created in the region - for large and student families and single mothers.

On December 20, similar payments were introduced in the Voronezh region. Also in the region, pregnant students will be paid 100 thousand rubles at a time.

According to 7x7 estimates, at least 40 regions of Russia previously introduced payments for pregnancy or childbirth. They are mainly prescribed to students or young women.
