Sexism, stalking and violence against women deputies remain a mass phenomenon in the parliaments of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. This is stated in the report of the Inter -Parliamentary Union. The authors interviewed 150 women - deputies and employees of parliaments from 33 countries, including Australia, Mongolia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Fiji and Micronesia. They found that 70% of women faced gender violence, and 60% of the respondents were victims of online surveying.
